Toddler Time in Hackensack, NJ
A Warm, Nurturing Welcome
Are you thinking about your child’s first dental visit? Here at State Street Smiles, we start seeing patients as early as their first tooth comes in, typically around one year old. We understand that concerned, caring parents have many questions about their child’s oral health.
To help make it easier, Drs. Eddie and Dina Jackson have created a special visit and orientation called Toddler Time for children 24 months or younger. This visit is organized to introduce our youngest patients and their parents to our outstanding team and office located in Hackensack, NJ.
The Toddler Time Experience
Toddler Time begins in a welcoming group setting with a kid-friendly discussion about basic oral health and development. During this educational session, you’ll receive some general tips and guidelines to help keep your little one’s oral health on track.
Following the group meeting, each parent and child will be given the opportunity to meet with one of our stellar hygienists for a complimentary consultation. This is a great time to ask any additional and specific questions you might have about your child’s oral health.
Our staff is more than happy to explain our pediatric dental services and address any concerns or questions. It’s our goal to help both you and your child feel comfortable in our office and confident in the care we will provide.
Scheduling Your Child’s First Visit
Once you’ve attended Toddler Time, the next step is scheduling your child’s first dental visit to State Street Smiles. We recommend that children should start visiting the dentist once their first tooth appears or around their first birthday.
During their visit, we’ll educate your child on the importance of oral hygiene and teach you how to care for your little one’s smile. Our friendly team will make every effort to ensure your child’s first visit is as positive and comfortable as possible.
