Achieve A Healthier, Straighter Smile

Having a straight smile can give you a confidence boost, but straight teeth don’t just look better— they’re more functional, too. Poorly-aligned teeth can interfere with bite function, wear out quicker, and are more prone to cavities. Correcting your alignment can also reduce your chances of developing oral health issues like periodontal diseases, jaw pain, and more.

Straightening your smile doesn’t have to be a painful process involving metal brackets, wires, and frequent visits to the orthodontist. If you’re tired of living with a crooked smile or find that your dental hygiene suffers because of misalignment, ClearCorrect is a clear and simple choice. No wires, no brackets — just clear, convenient comfort with every reason to smile.

At State Street Smiles, our mission is to optimize the health, appearance, and function of your smile. Our dentists in Hackensack are proud to offer ClearCorrect as one of our quality orthodontic treatments to New Jersey patients from Teterboro, Maywood, Teaneck, and the surrounding areas.

What is ClearCorrect?

ClearCorrect is a clear aligner system much like Invisalign or FastBraces designed to straighten your teeth using a series of clear, custom-made aligners that gradually shift your teeth over time. These aligners help correct any alignment issues resulting in a straighter, healthier smile. ClearCorrect trays are removable so you can continue to enjoy your favorite foods and maintain your normal oral hygiene routine, without the hassle of cleaning between brackets and wires.

Candidacy for ClearCorrect

In most cases, ClearCorrect can be a great orthodontic solution for both teenagers and adults but not everyone is eligible for this treatment option. This can be especially true for children who may not have their permanent teeth or senior patients with more complex dental issues. ClearCorrect may not be suitable for patients with temporomandibular joint (TMJ) issues or those who suffer from severe misalignment issues.

Because we don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to dental care, our expert Hackensack dentists will be sure to thoroughly evaluate your unique situation to ensure ClearCorrect is the best solution for your orthodontic treatment plan.

Clear Correct Vs. Traditional Braces

While traditional braces are a tried and true method of resolving a variety of orthodontic problems, many patients dislike them due to dietary restrictions, frequent painful orthodontic appointments, and noticeability of the wire brackets.

Unlike traditional braces, the ClearCorrect trays are removable, so there aren’t any restrictions. Just make sure to remove the trays prior to eating or drinking anything other than plain water. This allows you to maintain your current diet without inconveniencing your lifestyle.

ClearCorrect aligners aren’t just convenient and discreet; they can also treat a variety of issues such as:

  • Gapped teeth
  • Crowded teeth
  • Overbite
  • Underbite
  • Crossbite
  • Open bite

The ClearCorrect Treatment Process

ClearCorrect is a more comfortable and discreet alternative to braces with a treatment process that typically takes half the time. The clear aligner trays work to gradually shift your teeth until you eventually have a straight smile you can be proud of.  The ClearCorrect treatment process can be completed in four easy steps:

  • At the consultation, Dr. Jackson will examine your oral health and provide you with a customized treatment plan, including a detailed timeline.
  • Once you approve your treatment plan, x-rays, impressions, and photographs will be taken and sent to a lab where they’ll create your new aligner trays.
  • Once your aligners arrive, you’ll begin wearing them for 22 to 24 hours a day, only removing them to eat or drink.
  • You’ll swap out your aligners every two weeks for a new set.
