Dental insurance is typically set up with specific parameters and limitations. Unfortunately, there are very few dental insurance plans that offer comprehensive benefits and it’s likely that there will be some out-of-pocket expenses for most procedures.

We make our dental recommendations based on your health and the way we would want to be treated in your situation, not based on what insurance will cover. That being said, we’ll always do our best to maximize your insurance benefits so that your financial responsibility is minimized.

We’ll also be happy to estimate and review with you how we expect your insurance benefits to work in our office so that you have no surprises.

At State Street Smiles, we work with most insurance companies. Each insurance company has many different plans that your employer can choose from when they are deciding what benefits to offer. We have found that the best way to answer your question about your insurance plan is to do a complimentary benefits check prior to your visit. Once you give us all the necessary insurance information, we will call your insurance company and determine how your benefits will work in our practice. If there is anything unusual that you need to know, we will be sure to contact you prior to your first visit. With this in mind, please be sure to check and respond to any messages that we leave you prior to your appointment so that we can avoid any surprises in your benefits once you get here.

If your bonding does break or chip, please let us know. We can generally patch or repair bonding in one visit.
