Aftercare For Teeth Whitening  

Teeth whitening sometimes causes temporary sensitivity. Some people’s teeth are more sensitive to peroxide than others and may experience some discomfort after whitening. Post-whitening tooth sensitivity often goes away quickly and doesn’t cause any additional harm.

With that being said, it can be concerning and uncomfortable to experience sensitivity after whitening. The Kӧr system is designed to result in little to no sensitivity after treatment, so you can enjoy its benefits even if you’ve experienced sensitivity from other whitenings products.

In the days and weeks following your teeth whitening, Dr. Jackson may recommend avoiding certain beverages, foods, and products that can stain your teeth including:

  • Staining foods such as acidic fruits, colorful spices or sauces, and red meat
  • Tobacco products
  • Colored dental hygiene products such as mouthwash and toothpaste
